Position: AED (OPS II)

Ms. Yin Chan has been seconded from the Customs and Excise Department to AVSECO as the Assistant Executive Director (Operations II) for a period of two years since 29 September 2020.  Ms. Chan has rich experience and extensive knowledge in the Customs field, which covers liaison and cooperation with the Mainland and overseas counterparts, intellectual property rights (IPR) investigation and enforcement, and excise administration and legislation on dutiable commodities.  In addition, she has participated in the formulation of policy initiatives as she was seconded to the Commerce and Economic Development Bureau as the Assistant Secretary (Commerce and Industry) responsible for the IPR protection policy between 2011 and 2012.
