Assistant Executive Director, Mr B.Y. Chiu, led a delegation of 3 officers from Information Technology Division to attend the 2019 Civil Aviation Security Science and Technology Exhibition in Shenzhen from August 29 to 30, 2019. Built on the theme of “New aviation security, new technology”, the exhibition drew together over 200 Mainland, Macau and Hong Kong delegates to explore how new technology is used to enhance aviation security.

Through attending theme talks and discussions with exhibitors, the delegation gained an up-to-date knowledge of the latest technological development of Mainland aviation security equipment, which is essential for the formulation of strategy on the application of advanced equipment for AVSECO.
