Outstanding Performance by Airport Community Alliance at "Ride to Shine HK" Cycling Campaign
The closing ceremony of “Ride to Shine Hong Kong” was successfully held on 27 September 2026 at the Hong Kong Sports Institute in Sha Tin.
On the event day, Mr. Jacob CHEUNG, Executive Director and Mr. Peter TSE, Deputy Executive Director (OPS II) of Aviation Security Company Limited, joined hands with Mr. Steven YIU, Chief Operating Officer of Airport Authority Hong Kong; Mr. Simon LI, President of Hong Kong International Aviation Academy; joined members of the Airport Cycling Team as cyclists to complete the final sprint stage of the event from Ma Liu Shui Pier to the Hong Kong Sports Institute, witnessing and celebrating the remarkable collective milestone of achieving 1.2 million kilometers in total cycling mileage.
With the support and dedication of colleagues, the Airport Community Alliance formed by the Company, Airport Authority Hong Kong, Hong Kong International Aviation Academy and AsiaWorld-Expo achieved an outstanding result of 57,267 kilometres, winning the 1st runner-up title. In addition, Mr. Chung Kar Ming from the Company’s Commercial Division achieved 2nd runner-up in the Individual Category with an outstanding cumulative distance of approximately 1,500 kilometres.
