To welcome the 30th anniversary of Hong Kong’s return to the Motherland, AVSECO fully supports and takes pride in serving as a supporting organization for the “Ride-To-Shine HK” Mega Smart Cycling Campaign.  The initiative aims to unite Hong Kong citizens in achieving a collective target of 1.2 million kilometers, which is equivalent to cycling around the Earth 30 times, working hand in hand to accomplish an extraordinary milestone.

AVSECO held its official Kick-off Ceremony on 31 July 2026, with HK Shine Tak Foundation Chief Advisor Mr. Sammy Tsui and his management team in attendance. Officiating the ceremony, AVSECO Executive Director Mr. Jacob Cheung, Deputy Executive Director (Operations II) Mr. Peter Tse, and Mr. Sammy Tsui cycled together to launch the event.

Embracing the slogan "Transform Energy. Ignite the City. Achieve the Breakthrough!", the company is striving toward an internal target of 40,075 kilometers (one full lap around the Earth) to promote health awareness and strengthen team spirit.

On 6 August 2026, to further champion this impactful initiative, our Deputy Executive Director (Operations II) Mr. Peter Tse led nearly 100 Greater Bay Area interns to the main venue at Salisbury Garden in Tsim Sha Tsui. They actively contributed over 1,000 kilometers of cycling mileage in a single effort to advocate for a healthy lifestyle and spread positive energy throughout the community.   AVSECO extends its special gratitude to Mr. Steven Yiu, Executive Director of Airport Operations at the Airport Authority Hong Kong; Mr. Lam Kwok-hing, Chairman of the Hong Kong Shine Tak Foundation; Mr. Sammy Tsui, Chief Advisor; and Mr. Jacob Cheung, Executive Director of AVSECO, for their presence and support in making this initiative a resounding success!
