The HKIA Community Cycling and Rowing Competition 2026, organised by the Airport Authority Hong Kong, was successfully held on 15 June 2026 (Mon) at the Arrivals Hall (L5) of HKIA Terminal 2. The high-energy event brought together 27 airport community organisations, including government departments and disciplinary forces, for a day of exciting and competitive sportsmanship.

Executive Director, Mr. Jacob Cheung, and Deputy Executive Director (Operations II), Mr. Peter Tse, led a dedicated team of 8 AVSECO athletes to compete in the 20km cycling race and the rowing competition. The team trained rigorously before the competition, formulating comprehensive training plans and race strategies with multiple rounds of intensive physical and tactical training.  With strong teamwork, thorough preparation, and precise tactical execution, the team delivered an outstanding performance throughout the competition.  Spurred on by the exceptional leadership of management and the enthusiastic energy of the AVSECO cheering team, AVSECO won the championship title in the Group B Rowing Competition!
