AVSECO Statement on North Runway Aircraft Incident

Providing all assistance to the families of  the Two late Valued Colleagues

(Hong Kong, 22 October 2025, 1000hrs) –  Aviation Security Company Limited (AVSECO) continues to offer support and assistance to the bereaved families of the two staff members who lost their lives in the incident that occurred on the North Perimeter Road on 20 October 2025.  Our Executive Director and Senior Management met with the families yesterday to convey heartfelt condolences in person and to address their particular needs during this difficult time.

AVSECO is committed to providing all necessary support to the families during this period of immense sorrow.

Counselling services are being made available to all AVSECO staff affected by this tragedy.

AVSECO is fully cooperating with the Airport Authority Hong Kong, the Civil Aviation Department, and all relevant authorities in the ongoing investigation into this incident.

In light of the ongoing investigation and out of respect for the families involved, we kindly ask for the privacy of the families to be honoured.

Once again, AVSECO expresses its profound sorrow over the tragic loss of two of our dedicated aviation security personnel.
