Position: Deputy Executive Director (Management)

 Ms. Emily CHU has been seconded from the Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) as the Deputy Executive Director (Management) since 1 October 2025.

 Ms. Emily CHU joined the Authority in March 2005.  In her past 20 years with AAHK, she managed a variety of airport operations and management responsibilities across passenger services, terminal and landside services, systems & facilities where she participated in numerous airport expansion, process & capacity improvement projects.  

 Prior to her current appointment, Emily headed the Business Continuity Planning Section of AAHK dedicated to aviation risk and crisis management.  She led effort in aerodrome emergency response and business continuity readiness, collaborating with regulators and emergency responders to ensure airport compliance in emergency response planning.  Additionally, she drives various preparedness programs to enhance disruption handling capability and sustain operational resilience across the Authority and HKIA community. 

 She was seconded to the Hong Kong International Aviation Academy as the Deputy Director of Marketing and Partnership from late 2019 to 2021.
