Aviation Security Company Limited (AVSECO) and Airline Operators Committee HKIA (AOC) are committed to strive to turn the vision of “Security is Everyone’s Responsibility” into action.  Between 22^nd and 28^th September, they conducted joint activities focused on themes of “Tailgating” and “Unattended Bags”.  AOC and CX conducted briefings for their members and staff and AVSECO set up a promotion booth in terminal to outreach airport staff.  On 25^th September, AVSECO and Police conducted two security awareness exercises where two CX staff, Ms XU Jiaxin and Mr. HO Tsz-wai demonstrated vigilance to intercept a tailgating attempt and promptly report an unattended bag.

Following the successful conclusion of the exercises, Mr. Duncan McCosh, Deputy Executive Director of AVSECO, and Ms. Keri LUI, Chair of the AOC, awarded Commendation Letters to Ms. XU and Mr. HO in recognition of their vigilance.

AVSECO and AOC signed a Security Awareness Charter on 16^th July.
