First knowledge exchange forum between Aviation Security Company Limited and Hong Kong Polytechnic University
Following a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed on 29th February 2024. On 27th June, the first knowledge exchange forum was held between Aviation Security Company Limited and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. The MoU aims to facilitate collaboration in scientific research and the application of aviation security equipment, with the goal of developing more advanced security facilities and fostering technological advancements. Furthermore, the MoU seeks to promote the cultivation of scientific research talents within the industry.
Professors from the Faculty of Engineering of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, along with representatives from the Hong Kong Police Force's Innovation and Solution Lab, were invited to share their research outcomes and insights on various topics, including autonomous driving, counting people inside vehicles at access points, and the development of patrol robots. Aviation Security Company Limited will commit to working closely with the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, with the shared objective of fostering knowledge exchange and practical application in aviation security.
