The Workplace Health and Well-being Work Group organized a visit to the Government Flying Service (GFS) on 12 June 2024.  The delegation mainly comprising Senior Managers, Assistant Managers and Management Trainees visited the Virtual Reality (VR) Aircrew Training System, Air Command Control Centre (ACCC), Hangar and Role Bay in the GFS Headquarters.

Apart from introducing on-site facilities and general responsibilities of the GFS, the representatives also shared the limitation, challenge and their personal feelings towards the rescue operations with the delegation. The visit enhanced participants’ understanding on the diverse services, equipment and facilities as well as the management policy and culture of the GFS which broadened their horizons and facilitated the interaction between two organisations.
