The Tripartite Working Group, established jointly by the Aviation Security Company Limited, Airport Authority Hong Kong, and the Hong Kong Police Force, held the third kick-off ceremony on 1^st March 2024.  During the ceremony, the working group had reviewed activities in 2023 and also planned the challenges ahead as well as announced plans for the upcoming year.  The 2024 kick-off ceremony featured Mr. Walter LI, Head of HKIA at Cathay Pacific Airways, as a special guest speaker, who shared his experience in providing internal training for Cathay Pacific Airways staff.  Furthermore, certificates of commendation were presented to individuals and organizations that demonstrated high vigilance in various security tests.

The primary objective of the kick-off ceremony is to enhance the airport community's understanding of the permit audit plan, assist in the internal staff training of various organizations through the use of e-learning videos and related training materials.  The Tripartite Working Group will continue to support the human resources and training personnel of the organizations of airport community, thereby passing on the core value of ‘Aviation Security is Everyone's Responsibility’ to maintain the security and safety of the Hong Kong International Airport.
