The Airport Authority arranged a soccer match, namely the ‘2019 Airport Community Football Cup’ at the Jockey Club Kitchee Centre, Shatin on 9th June 2019. Ten teams from AVSECO, Airport Authority, Civil Aviation Department, Customs & Excise Department, Fire Services Department, Immigration Department, Cathay Pacific Airways Ltd, DHL Aviation (Hong Kong) Ltd, Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Ltd and Hong Kong Airlines Ltd took part. Headed by Acting ED, Jacob Cheung and DED OPS II, Nelson Lui, 13 AVSECO officers participated in the event. After exciting and tense matches, Fire Services Department won the HKIA Cup Challenge and Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Ltd secured the Plate Challenge. The event fostered closer relationship between these local counterparts and enhanced team spirit.
