To promote a healthy lifestyle among its staff, AVSECO invited Ms. Chan Sio-Vai, a registered nurse from the Tobacco and Alcohol Control Office of the Department of Health, to conduct a Smoking Cessation Health Talk on 21 July 2021.

The talk covered the harmful effects of smoking and second hand smoke and the reasons for, and benefits of, quitting smoking. Information on methods to quit smoking, medications, and smoking cessation clinic services were also provided.

In addition, there was also experience sharing with colleagues who have successfully quit smoking.​
