Our Management Trainee (MT) Programme is designed to equip recent graduates with the skills, knowledge, and professional development needed to excel in executive-level roles and build a rewarding career in aviation security management.

Programme Structure

This 36-month comprehensive training programme is tailored to accelerate your growth and prepare you for leadership responsibilities. It begins with an induction programme, providing an in-depth understanding of our operations, corporate culture, and values.

Throughout the programme, trainees will gain hands-on experience through rotations across core operational divisions, as well as participation in cross-functional projects and strategic assignments. These opportunities ensure exposure to diverse aspects of aviation security management.

In addition, trainees will benefit from structured classroom training, corporate events, and professional development workshops aimed at enhancing critical skills such as communication, presentation, problem-solving, and leadership—essential for forging a successful career in this dynamic industry.

Career Progression  

The Management Trainee Programme offers a fast-track pathway to leadership roles in aviation security management. Upon successful completion of the three-year programme, trainees who meet the company’s performance standards and requirements will be appointed to managerial positions, paving the way for a rewarding and progressive career.

Requirements

• We are looking to recruit passionate individuals who meet the following requirements:
• Final-year university students or recent university graduates in any discipline;
• Interested in aviation security management and working at the Airport
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Putonghua)
• Strong self-motivation with a strong drive for excellence
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrate openness, integrity, teamwork and leadership qualities
• Permanent residents of Hong Kong or holder of a valid Hong Kong work visa

 What is aviation security management?

This involves planning, organising, leading and controlling functions in aviation security operation specialised in:

• Preventing Terrorism;
• Aviation Security Legislation & Regulations;
• Security Screening of Passenger, Baggage & Cargo;

• Access Control;
• Incident Management;
• Risk and Crisis Management.

Will I be expected to work on shift?

You will be required to work on shifts as the Hong Kong International Airport operates round the clock. The shift patterns depend on the posting you are assigned.
