A 6-seater Golf Car, officially known as Electric Vehicle Transporter has been put into commission during 3rd quarter of 2010 at the arrival level of the Passenger Terminal Building for enhancing mobility and responsiveness of our security officers for duties at various transfer points. The movement of this Transporter along the arrival level has shown a strong security presence in the Terminal. Furthermore, with such a provision, efficiency in terms of deployment of the special reinforcing teams has greatly been improved. It is evident that the tense of crowded situations as a result of bunching effect at transfer points would be eased off expeditiously thus enhancing the benchmark of passengers queuing time. The Transporter has also provided an efficient means for supervising officers enhancing their supervising roles from one transfer point to another.
