Joint Training Agreement with Singapore and Beijing
AVSECO's standards of training are recognised as exceeding regional and international benchmarks, based on feedback received from course participants. As a result, in 2007, Memoranda of Understanding in joint training development were signed with Certis-CISCO of Singapore and Beijing Capital International Airport. This presents a further expansion of the Academy's training services in China and South East Asia.

Organising International Conferences

The Academy has considerable experience in organizing and providing international seminars, in addition to coordinating and providing training courses.  Previous events include a Cargo Security Seminar in 2001, an International Aviation Security Conference organized jointly with CAAC in Kunming in 2002, and an Aviation Security Symposium in 2004.  In March 2009 the Academy played a major role in the organization of a highly successful International Aviation Security Conference 2009, jointly hosted with Certis Cisco of Singapore and the Emirates Group of Dubai, which was attended by 300 participants from all over the globe.  This conference proved a major event in the industry and will be repeated, again in Hong Kong, from 18 to 20 May 2011.  Internationally recognized aviation security experts, academics and analysts from around the world will be invited to share their insight and experiences in the field, focusing on future trends and developments.
